For this production we looked at Southern style weddings. We wanted slightly over the top dresses, hats, and gloves to give the actors lots to fuss with and complain about. And pink worked out great for the color. I was also able to utilize students as cutter/drapers for each dress. I liked this aspect as it gave each dress just a slightly different cut and feel that helped to support differences in the characters.
